Welcome!

Welcome to Twin Villages Church! We're a growing group of Christ-followers who are excited to continue multiplying a fellowship of believers in downtown Damariscotta-Newcastle, in beautiful midcoast Maine.

In 2017, God led Pastor Phil Nicewonger and his family to be sent out from the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro, where Phil served for nearly nine years. As of June 1, 2017, Phil completed his transition out of FBCW and into the role of church planter for Twin Villages Church.

We enjoyed growing in our faith and serving our community from our 15 Courtyard Street location for our first two years, and then in June 2019 were excited to move to 40 Church Street, former home of the United Methodist Church. We look forward to what God will do through TVC in the days ahead, and we invite you to join us on this journey!

Our gatherings are informal and Christ-centered, blending contemporary and classic worship styles for newborns through 80s. Our heart and soul is to introduce and connect people with the living, loving, and powerful God.

We'd love to meet you! Come check us out this SUNDAY where you can meet us and see if Twin Villages Church would be a good fit for you!

We exist to... grow in Christ,
love like Christ, live for Christ.

 — The church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue the task of reaching those who have not yet believed and discipling those who have, helping them become fully devoted followers of Christ. —

Ephesians 4:1-16

This Is You Making a Difference!

  •  I have lived near this area my whole life, and it is such a blessing to me to be able to attend Twin Villages Church and be a part of the amazing things that God is doing through this new church!

  •  I love the Sunday teaching with Pastor Phil and the way he brings Scripture to life, and how he provides practical application each week upon which we can ponder and act.

  •  Food and friends always go well together! It is so encouraging each week to have an informal time to share conversation with others over a Sunday breakfast or lunch.

  •  I greatly appreciate the small groups and studies that provide a sense of caring and stability when stressing events come our way. Close friends are invaluable to daily life.
